It should be quite obvious by now that things just don’t look good for us. They don’t look good for our families, our friends and neighbors, our communities – things just don’t look good for our nation. It shouldn’t be hard to see either, if we are honest. We’re speaking about our future, and the future of our children. Do we see the storm? Do we really understand how grave the situation has become? As a pastor, or a church leader, do you know your flock believes we are in danger too?
What is holding you back from screaming at the top of your lungs to batten down the hatches, and secure the ship for heavy seas before it is dashed to pieces?
The Shenandoah Christian Alliance (SCA) appreciate the problems you are facing, and we want to help equip you with tools for a compelling and rewarding victory over the devastating danger a terribly corrupted culture is doing to your flock, their families, their loved ones, and their communities. Of course, we know that the future is in God’s hands, and the government is on His shoulders. But we also know that He has given us a beautiful nation to protect, love and cherish. It’s a fact America has prospered and thrived unlike any in modern history. We genuinely believe God blessed this nation and expects us to defend her against tyranny and oppression—which we know He hates.
- “Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and oppressed.” (Psalm 82:3)
- “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and plead the widow’s cause,” (Isaiah 1:17).
- “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” (Micah 6:8)
Much of the things that have made life so uncertain and stressful are the result of a very politicized culture. Because so many of the mediating agencies, influencers, and authorities in America do not consider the Church to be relevant anymore, the Church, yes, even our churches here in the valley have lost much of their power to provide responsible guidance and influence.
Sadly, that is not the way it always was. America was founded on Christian/Biblical principles of justice, wisdom, and truth. While we have always tacitly or otherwise, been mindful of God’s providence and authority over the affairs of our nation… it seems we are no longer.
We believe that you are called by God, and you obeyed that call by responding in faith, trusting Him to lead, guide, and direct you. We encourage you stop and consider, then pray for the work SCA is undertaking. We ask you to give us some of that same trust so that we may help you keep your commitment to your calling to feed HIs sheep.
We are developing a powerful, inspirational program of tools, study guides, sermon topics and much more for you to use in this season of extraordinary change.
Why? Because separation of Church and State does not mean denying the Church its influence in the true government of America: the people.
Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness are Biblical principles worth preaching and teaching—now more than ever because time is running out.
